在IPSC實(shí)戰(zhàn)射擊賽中，警員莊子維（吳彥祖 飾）打破了賽會(huì)紀(jì)錄，但新紀(jì)錄很快被香港基金經(jīng)理關(guān)友博（古天樂 飾）改寫，后者奪魁賽后，關(guān)友博巧遇蒙面歹徒打劫解款車，解款員被歹徒打死。此時(shí)，一個(gè)交通警（連凱 飾）路過，被歹徒打傷。為救人，關(guān)友博擊斃了4名劫匪，并報(bào)警。另一歹徒落荒而逃，同時(shí)4億美元債券遭搶。交警獲救，護(hù)理他的是關(guān)有博的女友（蔡卓妍 飾）。因非法持槍傷人，關(guān)友博被拘。莊子維審問時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)對(duì)方超常冷靜。面對(duì)檢方控訴，關(guān)友博沉著應(yīng)對(duì)，結(jié)果當(dāng)庭獲釋。女上司（李冰冰 飾）接他回家，但他對(duì)她的殷勤并不領(lǐng)情。關(guān)友博的賬戶存在資金周轉(zhuǎn)問題，他正想方設(shè)法拖延還款時(shí)間。莊子維在查案中毫無頭緒，于是請(qǐng)教老槍王（方中信 飾），從對(duì)話中，他似乎嗅到了關(guān)鍵性的線索……
